Head to head

Flick: press on one of your players, drag back like a catapult and let go. Longer pull, harder flick.
Keep the ball by touching it with the player you flick. Miss it and the other side gets the next flick.
Three in a row is the limit for any one player. After that, flick a team-mate.
Foul: hit an opponent before the ball and you lose possession.
Block flicks (optional, off by default): after each attacking flick that keeps the ball, the defending side moves one player into the way before the attackers go again. During a block flick only the defenders can be flicked, and touching the ball puts it back.
Shooting area: goals only count if the shot is struck past the dashed line. Own goals always count.
Keepers are on rods and react to shots by themselves. Aim for the corners.
The teams change ends at half time, so in the second half you attack the other goal.
The clock runs while play is live. Throw-ins, corners and goal kicks are taken by the nearest player. Before a throw-in or corner you can drag near the ball to move your taker into a better spot.
